pecan_pie:test1

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup karo
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 3-4 Tbs butter
  • 1+ tsp vanilla
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1-1/3 cups pacan halves

Lightly beat eggs. Add all other infreedients except pecans, mix together. Fold in pecans, pour into pie shell.

350º, 40-50 minutes.

  • 2 tsp flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 7/8 cup karo
  • 7/8 cup brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 Tbs butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • <1/4 tsp salt
  • 1+ cups pacan halves

Biggest challenge is cooking enough to set filling with overcooking the top. Can either burn or thicken to tough caramel.
